TCL Design Innovation Center is hiring Principle Visual Communication Designer

Job Title: Principle Visual Communication Designer.
Department: Visual Communication Design Department of TCL Design Innovation Center.
Work Location: Shenzhen, China.

Position Background:

• Design Innovation Center, DIC. It’s an official design center under TCL Technology Group with around 200 designers.
• Visual Communication Design department, VCD. It’s an elite team to represent DIC to control the whole TCL group visual communication design works & key visual design direction.

Job Description:

• Aesthetic Style Control: Based on Brand & Design Strategy to work on aesthetic design and visualize product design language works.
• Hands-on Capability: Be the main creator with hands-on skill & capability to lead the visual communication design team.
• Leadership: Regularly co-work with Global Marketing Center and brand center to work out the key visual design of multiple product categories for China & Global markets.
• Product Key Visual Design: Be the main contact person to represent DIC to present the yearly TCL Design Language with Aesthetic Design Direction, and control the quality of key visual design works in terms of product advertisement, product animation, product story video, product poster, exhibition key image with 3rd party design agency.
• Exhibition Design: Guide and participate in the key visual design of new product announcement events and global exhibition design, such as CES in Las Vegas, MWC in Barcelona, AWE in Shanghai, and iFA in Berlin.
• Package Design: Guide and instruct visual designers to unify the packaging design from all business units to unify the packaging design within all TCL category products.

Skills & Experience Requirement:

• Hands-on sketch to show ideation & concept in a quick and quality way.
• 5+ years of brand & visual communication design experience from luxury goods, electric products, advertisement design companies.
• Excellent aesthetic sense & open-minded communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D modeling & animation software.
