Thinking of Dimension Upgrade

When we want to learn marketing, we should learn strategy, because strategy is a higher dimension than marketing. Only by looking at marketing from a strategic perspective, we truly understand marketing.

Designers used to only think about how to draw better sketches and renderings. But In fact, they should consider how to make product strategy. People who make product strategy should consider brand issues, and considering brand issues should consider cultural issues. Because product strategy is one dimension higher than design, branding is another dimension higher than product strategy, culture is another dimension higher than branding, and civilization is another dimension higher than culture. Therefore, design requires product strategy thinking, product strategy requires brand thinking, branding requires cultural thinking, and culture requires civilized thinking.

The dimensional reduction attack is to raise oneself to another dimension and then compete with the opponent, who will be invincible.

提升維度思考

當我們想學習營銷的時候,應該去學習戰略,因為戰略比營銷高一個維度,只有站在戰略的高度看營銷,才能真正把營銷搞懂。

設計師往往只會思考怎樣把產品圖畫的更好,其實應該考慮怎麼做產品策略,而做產品的人更應該考慮品牌的問題,而做品牌更應該考慮文化的問題。因為產品比設計高一個維度,品牌比產品又再高一個維度,文化再比品牌高一個維度,而文明又比文化高一個維度。因此,做設計要有產品思維,做產品要有品牌思維,做品牌要有文化思維,做文化要有文明思維。

降維打擊,就是將自己提升一個維度,再去跟對手抗衡,那是戰無不勝的。
